Generation process
1. Base Material and Pre-treatment of Impregnated Paper
Base Material Selection:
Common base materials include particleboard, medium-density fiberboard (MDF), plywood, and blockboard, etc. It is necessary to ensure that the surface of the base material is flat and the density is uniform.
Production of Impregnated Paper:
Decorative paper printed with textures or colors is immersed in melamine resin adhesive and dried to a semi-cured state. The resin adhesive needs to evenly penetrate the paper fibers to enhance surface wear resistance and adhesion.
2. Post-processing and Finishing
Cutting and Edge Banding:
• Board Cutting:
Use a precision sliding table saw or CNC cutting machine, with dimensional accuracy controlled within ±0.5mm.
• Edge Banding:
Employ a straight edge banding machine or manual edge banding, using moisture-curing polyurethane hot melt adhesive (PUR) to enhance sealing, prevent formaldehyde release, and avoid edge swelling.
